Is there a
presidential candidate that is for veteran
issues?
In the years that I have used the VA medical
services I would say that the greatest accomplishment
of the VA has been to drive entitled veterans away
from receiving the services that the veterans pre-paid
for with their military service. One of the first
things the government said when so many Gulf War vets
were suffering from Gulf War syndrome was that they
weren't going to do the same thing to them that they
did to Vietnam Veterans....then they did. My point of
this little rant is that the VA medical centers are
shells containing third rate medical care. |

Veterans &
Supporters, I was hoping that General Wesley Clark (henceforth referred to as Wes) would have made a difference but he is just like the others. Allow me elaborate. I have had the opportunity to be in Wes's presence twice during his presentations here in SC. Not once did Wes ever mention a thing about those that worked with him/for him over those 34 years. Yes, I know he has a different ball game now but to turn his back on those that served is a slap in the face. I even asked him face to face what about veterans? He came back with a response like, "That's in the works." BS!! Where does this leave me?? Don't know until I hear back from John Kerry's crew.
I
possess a place for John Kerry to speak from and willing to set it up for him.
Maybe, this will be the answer to our/my next hopeful. |
